Supported Shorts URL formats

Full Shorts URLs like youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID and short youtu.be/VIDEO_ID links both work.

Playlists and long-form YouTube videos may behave differently — Shorts-focused links give the best results.

How Shorts downloads work

Copy the Shorts link from the YouTube app or browser Share menu, paste it into ReelHox, and wait for analysis.

Choose HD MP4 when available or extract MP3 audio from the Short.

Why is it beta?

YouTube extraction is newer than TikTok/Instagram. We are improving speed and format coverage.

Not supported. Only public Shorts links work.
